Mortar platoon A-2/6 from Sept. 65 (still 17 years old at the time) until about March 66. Transferred to HHC 2/6 Maintenance Platoon where I was the generator man and stayed there until March 68. Got out of the Army for thirteen months and went back in April 69 to stay until I retired in June 86. One of the two best tours in my 20 year career. | |||
