I was stationed at McNair from '72-'74 4-6 later 4-18. Incredible memories of the city and the "zone". Am still in touch with several of my buddies. Haven't been back but really feel the need to go. Best regards to all that served there. | |||

I have not been to Berlin since I left in January 1981 but in about two weeks I will be there for 3 days. I am soo looking forward to my visit. I plan a trip to McNair and will visit the apartment I used to rent. | |||

Best place in the world to be in the Infantry. or the Army for that matter I guess.. Made me really appreciate it. I think everyone one else was jealous when I get to fort campbell when I got there. I was training NCO and in 3rd platoon from 81 to 84 for A 2/6. | |||
