I was stationed in HHC 2/6 from '82-'84 good times at mcnair an good times downtown on the ku'dame I'm sad to see the pix of mcnair lookin run down remembering how hard I worked to spit shine those hall floors thanx for this web site | |||

I was stationed at McNair Barracks in 1955 & 1956. I was in Headquarters Company 6th Inf reg. Field Music. I took part in many parades and formal guard mounts on Ring Str. I played trumpet, and when on my turn I was duty bugler, I played the daily calls on the Building above Ring Str. After playing retreat at McNairt Barracks, I would take a jeep ride to play retreat at High Cog. Berlin is a Great City. | |||

I served with Co B, 3d Bn, 6th Inf from Jan 1972 to Jun 1973. This brings back such fantastic memories. Doughboy city, Hohenfels, the White Horse and the Irish Pub. It was truly an adventure that was well worth taking. | |||
